In a groundbreaking effort to economically empower African youth for job and wealth creation across diverse sectors.
The 10th AAICE 2025, which will take place in Tunisia from 5-8 August, underlines the position of Africa being the youngest and fastest-growing continent globally, and the immense potential to leverage the youth population to address pressing economic challenges across the continent.
The 10th AAICE 2025 is organised by the African Agribusiness Incubators Network (AAIN), University of Sousse, African Union Commission (AUC), African Development Bank (AfDB) and partners to empower young people through fostering ecosystems, enabling market transformation, and integrating digital solutions to enhance job creation and economic growth in Africa.
It advances the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In line with the theme, “Building Agrifood Ecosystems, Transforming Markets, and Digital Solutions for Jobs and Wealth Creation: Catalyzing Agencies for Innovation in Africa,” AAICE 2025 will provide a platform that showcases innovative approaches and increases sustainable investment opportunities for youth and women in a bid to create jobs, employment and wealth through business incubation in Africa.
“It will be exciting to see young people who have emerged out of incubation exhibiting what they have learnt,” Professor Alex Ariho, the Chief Executive Officer, AAIN says.
Several Ugandans are expected to exhibit at the conference.
The conference will include participatory sessions, including panel discussions, keynote speeches, workshops, symposia, and other forms of interaction that encourage active audience participation using hybrid format, exhibitions, including youth entrepreneurial value chains, innovations, and technology showcasing products and services, Business-to-Business (B2B) Dialogues, opportunities for participants to network and explore partnerships and investment opportunities, field visits where delegates will have the chance to visit Incubators, Accelerators & Ecosystem Actors in Tunisia and youth pitch competitions, offering a platform for young entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to potential investors and collaborators.
